Welcome to La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Incorporated, Tau Chapter. Located at Rutgers University Newark and The New Jersey Institute of Technology; Founded at Rutgers University-Newark on April 19, 1995 by three wise and noble Latino men who stopped at nothing to become Elite Leaders in the Community. On April 14, 2004 one man carried his dream and expanded the chapter to The New Jersey Institute of Technology.

La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated was established on February 19, 1982 in order to address the shortcomings of academic institutions in meeting and addressing the needs of Latino students in higher education. Founded at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Incorporated primarily seeks to take a leadership role in meeting the needs of the Latino community through cultural awareness, community service, and promotion of the Latino culture and people. With more than 500 current undergraduates as presidents, officers, executive board members, administrative committee members, and leaders of various campus organizations, Lambda men are proactive and ambitious individuals that take a leadership role in affecting change and engaging in school life.
Although our Hermanos join our Hermandad traditionally as young men the experience they gain as undergraduate Hermanos and the dedication they learn last for a lifetime. (Para Siempre)
